Experiencing Difficulty

STRIKE MAGAZINE UF ISSUE V, PHASE 1

Manifestation is the journey of identifying dysfunctional patterns, experiencing inward discovery, developing understanding of others and ultimately reaching your full potential. We believe experiencing difficulty is the first step in personal growth.

BEHIND THE SCENES

“We put the idea together based on the concept of difficulty and coming to terms with our realities. In Phase 1, all of the ribbon and fabric is supposed to represent this difficulty—almost like being entangled in the struggle of coping and trying to break free from its hold.”

— JACOB WALL, CONTENT TEAM ASSISTANT

“Content Team Director Kaureen Randhawa and I are good friends with the girls who live in the apartment where the shoot took place. While hair and makeup was happening at another site, Kaureen and I were able to sneak up to their apartment while they were sleeping to make the place photoshoot ready—pushing back the couches, moving the rugs and sweeping the entire area—the whole nine yards. When the roommates [awoke], they were shocked to see the place transformed.”

— MATTHEW HAMBURG, ASSISTANT CREATIVE DIRECTOR
