Courrèges SS25 Was Marked by Repetition

Do it again and again. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.

The Courrèges spring/summer 2025 collection explored the principles of repetition and its cycles. With a color scheme of black, white, and tan, designer Nicolas Di Felice was right because this collection felt like one we had seen before.

The setting was their signature white cube, but at the center was an installation in collaboration with a Finnish artist duo, Tommi Grönlund and Petteri Nisunen. The piece featured a large circular element, with small metal balls cascading down its surface, mimicking the sounds of the ocean waves as they moved. Models Anok Yai, Irina Shayk, Amelia Gray, Mona Tougard, and Vittoria Cerreti were just a few of the standout faces to walk the show.

Di Felice’s collection was a Courrèges classic of sleek minimalism, showcasing asymmetrical hemlines and tiny backless bra tops and dresses. Draping tops and tightly-fit dresses were paired with sleek trousers or leather tights. Like the last collection, hands were either in pockets or constrained by oversized leather coats.

Accessories featured their signature wide-framed statement glasses, a singular earring with a feather wrapped around the ear, and clutches to match the solid color scheme. The shoes, seemingly extended with the pants, had an open toe, a singular thick strap design, and a short heel.
