The Power of a High Frequency Facial

As if our skincare routines don’t have enough steps already, I just found one more step I simply couldn’t keep to myself: a high frequency machine. At first it sounds scary, but this little machine creates a subtle electrical current on the skin that brings huge benefits to your face. By electrical current, I mean absolutely no pain; if anything, just the feeling of a small static shock.

The high frequency machine was first used on my face by an esthetician after she completed my facial. Since I deal with a lot of hormonal breakouts and those annoying under the skin pimples, she explained to me how high frequency is perfect for skin like mine. It disturbs the bacteria under the skin, sometimes before it is even able to form a blemish. I was basically sold at that point.

Shortly after, I went to my routine eyebrow waxing appointment. Again, I was asked if I wanted high frequency used around my eyebrows to prevent any blemishes from forming, since my pores had just been exposed. I started to see this high frequency machine take over, and decided I needed to have one of my own. Of course, I went directly to Amazon so I could have it delivered the next day.

I can honestly say that I see a difference in my skin when I actively keep up with my skincare routine and incorporate the high frequency machine every couple of days.

I couldn’t keep quiet about this machine in the hopes that this could be the solution for anyone who deals with skin conditions such as active acne, fine lines and wrinkles, or dark circles and underage puffiness. The electrical current of high frequency is able to disturb the bacteria underneath the surface of our skin before it is able to form a blemish. The machine also prepares the skin to better absorb topical serums or treatments. Since the machine oxygenates the face, the flow of blood helps to reduce fine lines and wrinkles. Better circulation also helps to reduce dark circles and any puffiness.

Everyone deserves to feel confident in their own skin. This high frequency machine has helped me along my skincare journey, and I hope you can find some value in it too!
