Coachella 2023 Beauty Looks

It’s the time of year we’ve all been waiting for… Coachella season. The most iconic festival where celebrities and influencers infiltrate the Empire Polo Field in Southern California rocking their funky hairstyles, face jewels, and colorful eyeliner. Coachella is an ouster of beauty looks that come together to showcase people’s styles and personalities. In one direction, you might see Kendall Jenner and Hailey Bieber rocking simplistic makeup looks to match the vibe of their monochrome outfits, and in the other you see influencers with detailed eye makeup with press-on jewels. Coachella wouldn’t be Coachella if we weren’t anxiously waiting for influencers to upload their looks of the weekend for us to admire.

Starting with the queen herself, Emma Chamberlain. From the glossy red lips to the textured wolf cut, Emma rocks her 70’s look. I think that we can all agree that Emma could style her hair, makeup, and outfits in just about any way and continue to pave the way for unique trends. This messy hair and bold lip combo give off a party vibe brought to a festival scene. Emma never fails to be a trendsetter and create beautiful looks that are simple yet iconic. Emma followed her “pop of red” theme with her second outfit which consisted of a denim cutoff dress paired with red loafers. Her details are subtle, yet unique for a festival fit.

Ms. Kendall Jenner strayed away from the boho festival look and instead opted for a simple, monochromatic outfit. Having attended Coachella for nearly 10 years, Kendall decided to rock the “clean girl” look and prove that a simple tank and jeans can do the job. Her simple waves, chic, black sunglasses, and sandals elevate this simplistic look. Although Kendall has created some iconic beauty looks, she typically leans towards light makeup, simple jewelry, and an overall clean aesthetic, so I would say this look is very on-brand for her.

Dixie D’Amelio adds a burst of color paired with touches of black details in her hair and outfit for her Coachella look. Dixie’s short hair was recently bleached, but new black streaks were added to bring her Coachella look together. Her sharp eyeliner and nude lip, made for a simple, yet elegant, makeup look to balance her outfit. Dixie is known for her darker looks in which she tends to give off an edgy vibe with lots of black details in her hair, makeup, clothes, and accessories. However, for this year’s Coachella look, she made a statement with the pop of color while including her classic black staples in her hair and eyeliner.
Coachella 2023 was the year for old trends returning, a mix of sparkles, fringe, denim, and just about everything in between. From an outside perspective, Coachella is a festival where self-expression and beauty blossom and it continues to influence the beauty and fashion world for years to come.
