This Time, You Have to be 21 for Kendall Jenner to Serve You Nothing

Kendall Jenner has moved on from carbonated drinks and is now on to bigger and better things. On Tuesday, the model took to Instagram to share that after almost four years of blind taste tests, curing racism, trips to the distillery, and entering into world tasting competitions anonymously (“and WINNING” according to KJ’s post), her flagship tequila “Drink 818” (rise and shine Calabasas) is finally “coming soon”.

The brand is said to launch with three tequilas: "Blanco Tequila," "Reposado Tequila," and "Añejo Tequila”, all of which are made from 100% blue agaves in Jalisco (take a shot of 818 every time a white celeb travels to Mexico in a pandemic).

Judges at the World Tequila Awards described the winning concoction as “an earthy nose that hints at pecan pie, sweet potato, and caramel. A sweet and smoky body with some oaky influence, vanilla, and more sweetness on the finish as cinnamon ice cream comes through” (sounds to me like the most glamorous hangover).

On her Instagram post, Kendall writes, "This is all we’ve been drinking for the last year and I can’t wait for everyone else to get their hands on this to enjoy it as much as we do!”.  It is still unclear when the label will be available to us but hopefully just in time for my upcoming trip to my private island with my “inner circle”  so we can pretend things are normal just for a brief moment in time.
