Strikes Halloween Costume Guide

It happens every year–you kick off the school year with a few fun parties, but soon enough, you’re back to going to class and laboring over your assignments. A tailgate here, a Friday night out there, and all of a sudden–Halloween is two weeks away, and you haven't even thought about what you’ll dress up as.

Now, that’s a true horror story.

The Strike team has decided to help you break that cycle. We’ve made a list of the hottest Halloween costumes we are dying to see this year. Whether you’re going solo or with your entourage, we have something you’re sure to win “Best Costume” in.

Pamela Anderson

What’s sexier than embodying the spirit of iconic model and actress of the ‘90s, Pamela Anderson? There are so many different iconic looks you could channel from her career, but here is how Strike styled it:

  • Tight khaki-colored pants with a flare and a lace-up front

  • A heavy leather jacket, complete with shoulder pads and a diagonal zipper

  • A black feathery headwrap (this reminded me of Pamela’s iconic 1999 VMAs hat)

  • And, of course, a red lip

Pinkalicious and Purplicious

Remember these divas from your childhood? Strike styled the perfect pair to give you some inspiration for you and your BFF’s matching costumes.

Pinkalicious

  • A pink Coniglio wrap pareo

  • A pink lace bralette layered under a pink v-neck crop tank top

  • Pink square-toed heels

  • A pink crown

  • A Hello Kitty purse

Purplicious

  • A purple, A-line dress

  • Purple hightop Jordans

  • A purple crown

Puss in Boots

This is an incredibly fun and sexy costume idea, yet somehow, I haven’t seen it before.

Here's how we styled it.

  • A tight black mini-dress

  • A brown leather vest

  • An oversized hat with a large feather on the side

  • Michael Kors black stiletto boots

  • For the “tights,” we used body paint over a pair of lace stockings, then removed them to create this “lace” effect.

Brat and Demure

We channeled our inner Charli XCX and Jools Lebron for this one.

Brat

  • A bright green Strike T-shirt

  • Itty bitty black micro shorts

  • Platform bright green platform crocs

  • A green beanie

  • Space-like sunglasses

Demure

  • A long, flowy maxi skirt

  • A vintage babydoll blouse with lace details on the collar

  • A knit shawl

  • Birkenstock Bostons

And, to make this list even sweeter, I’m throwing in some more ideas you can style in your own fashion.

Doses and Mimosas

The album cover of the iconic song “Doses and Mimosas” features a duo dressed in chef hats and aprons. Slap on some nametags that say “Doses” and the other “Mimosas,” and you got it good. Fun and easy, you and your BFF can't go wrong.

Lock, Shock, and Barrel

If you were looking to do a more eerie costume with your group, the trio from The Nightmare Before Christmas would be perfect. Make your own masks or find some online, throw on a mini dress, and you’ve got the perfect spooky trio costume.
