Refocusing the Chaos of the Oscars- Here's a Look at the Best-Dressed Stars on an Iconic Night

After last week's chaos that consumed the annual Oscars ceremony, it goes without saying that many of the best outfits were overlooked. We saw some of the flashiest and best-dressed individuals take to the red carpet. Some rocked their outfits while others did not. However, this article is focused on looking at who was truly best dressed. It’s hard to quantify numerically where these individuals fall, so do not let the ranking detract from how well these celebrities were dressed. With that said, let’s dive in!

1. Zendaya
Coming in at the number one spot, I have Zendaya in her Valentino Haute Couture. Zendaya makes looking good extremely easy. This often causes people to overlook just how well dressed she is. However, no one can deny just how stunning her outfit was for the Oscars. Aside from the white top meshing extremely well with her silver reflective skirt, her makeup and accessories were done to perfection. Solidifying her position at the top of my list.

2. Timothèe Chalamet
Bold is the only word to describe Chalamet’s Louis Vuitton outfit. The young and upcoming star rocked a bedazzled black blazer that was sure to garner attention from anybody that walked by. Furthermore, making the decision to go with an all-black outfit is quite a risky decision. But, on this occasion, it definitely paid off. Though I must say, my favorite part of Chalamet’s ensemble was his chain, which I assume to be a panther. By going shirtless, he drew all eyes to that chain, and I think it was an excellent decision. This led to my choice to place him in the second position on my list.

3. Vanessa Hudgens
In third place, I have Vanessa Hudgens, whose outfit was sleek and stunning. This Michael Kors product fit Hudgen’s extremely well and allowed her form to shine. The fact that it was a plain black dress may have caused her outfit to be overlooked, however, sometimes, that works in favor of the celebrity. This is one of those times.

4. Simu Liu
Next on the list is Simu Liu, who sported a red Versace suit. Yet another celebrity decided to go bold with his attire and had it work in his favor. Going with a red suit was definitely an attention grabber, but my favorite part about this outfit once again comes down to the accessories. The gold buttons on the suit, corresponded to the gold buttons on his dress shirt, which paired well with the solid gold watch he repped. His ability to connect every aspect of his outfit in some way was extremely impressive, to say the least.

5. Jessica Chastain
To round off my list, I have Jessica Chastain in her Gucci dress. It was quite a colorful decision, as compared to a lot of celebrities who dress more conservatively for this award ceremony. The rose gold at the top of the dress that transitions to lavender is not a color combination I would have anticipated, but I loved it. Also, the ruffles at the bottom of the dress were the cherry on top. Rounding off my list of best-dressed celebrities at the Oscars.
