Slayfire Cosmetics

CeCelia Baughn: "Slayfire Cosmetics is your new best friend if you're looking for guilt-free, handmade, vegan, and cruelty-free glitter. I used this glitter on the looks of the Law of Energy and the Law of Relativity. Their specific glitter mix called "Hades" is a wonderful dupe for the purple-hued glitter used in HBO's Euphoria. I love supporting this brand for the eco-friendly glitter and because it's Indigenous + POC and Queer owned (insert jab at Lemonhead).  Slayfire has beautiful mixes, and just about anything you're looking for, for your glitter needs.”

Fenty Beauty

CeCelia Baughn: "All of the looks I created for this Issue included the Fenty Pro Filt'r setting powders in Honey and Hazelnut's shades. These powders not only have a beautiful finish but work with all different skin shades. They melt beautifully into the skin and give a little bit of pigment because they are not translucent.”

Hourglass Cosmetics

CeCelia Baughn: "I also used Veil translucent setting powder from Hourglass. This product does very well brightening up the under-eye!   Warning: Although it says translucent,  I would tread lightly as it can cause a white cast if not used properly.”

Youth to The People

CeCelia Baughn: "Skincare is the number one thing when it comes to applying makeup. No questions. Thank you. Everyone's skin is so different, which calls for different routines, but everyone that sits in my chair must be well moisturized. And my favorite skincare brand as of late has to be Youth to The People. YTTP focuses on sustainable and natural ingredients. I've also found that each of their products works for different skin concerns. In my kit, I have their Superfood Air-Whip Moisture Cream, which can be used on all skin types (I like to use it on more oily to combo skin types because it hydrated the skin perfectly for a smooth canvas without leaving that slick feeling). I also love using their Dream Eye Cream as a base for any under-eye products!”

Claropsyche

CeCelia Baughn: "Claropsyche is owned by talented artist Juliana Horner aka @anominalia, on Instagram. My favorite product from this brand has to be the iconic Sketch Paint palette. If you love graphic liner as I do, you have to check it out. The palette has a great range of colors to choose from, and it's created by a fellow artist who just gets it. This palette was my go-to for the Law of Gender, where we created that minty green gloss on the eyes.  I also used it to create that stunning blue look for the Editor's portraits.”
