Who the F*** Is Fox?
Let’s cut to the chase; Julia Fox and Kanye West are kind of- confusing. Suspicious, even.

But so what? Maybe she just wants to share excitement for her new man! It is just an article on the intimate details of her high profile, incredibly new relationship published within a widely circulated, very trendy pop culture magazine, after all! Yet, perhaps most concerning are a few of her statements, such as, “That’s what’s so exciting about being in the vicinity of someone who’s operating at the level that he is. These seemingly crazy ideas, he can make them come to life,” or, “after meeting him, a couple of days later, all my shit was in boxes, gone. It was so cathartic. It wasn’t like I was just packing up my old clothes, it was like I was packing up my old life.”

While Fox has clarified their relationship is currently “unlabelled,” she is persistent in trying to convince the world that they are “the real deal.” Regardless, a large percentage of the public remains skeptical, believing that the entire entanglement is nothing more than an elaborate PR stunt; Rolling Stones deeming it “one of the most transparently publicity-oriented relationships in Hollywood history.” For instance, photos of Fox and West were conveniently released just hours before Ye announced a new Balenciaga collaboration with Yeezy and Gap. If you’re still not convinced, consider the fact that Fox referred to herself as “a really good candidate” to be West’s girlfriend. And yes, she did use the word candidate. In fact, Fox even identified herself as a “muse” to many, oddly characterizing her and West’s connection as “meta.”
Upon reviewing the couple’s steadily increasing digital footprint, it makes sense that onlookers would believe this relationship to be “performance art.” So, is Julia Fox Ye’s new muse? Is this relationship the real deal? Is it all a publicity stunt? I suppose time will tell. In the meantime, I will be trying to forget about Fox’s Paris Fashion Week makeup entirely, but wishing them all the best for now!
