Inside a Painting

A DIFFERENT KIND OF PORTRAIT.

es·cap·ism the tendency to seek distraction or relief by engaging in fantasy.

The past year has been nothing short of a rollercoaster. The highs and the lows, all happening in the four corners of our home. If you could escape anywhere, where would you go? Inside a painting is magical dream. A place where our imagination has no limits. One spring day three girls appear in a variety of David Hockney paintings. Fields of flowers, California swimming pools, orange rain drops, and bright green trees. His paintings are pure joy. The English painter, born in the 1930s is an important contributor to the pop art movement. His paintings allow viewers to engage in a transcendental experience. This is an ode to David Hockney, at age 83, he is the gift that keeps on giving.
