Hot Girl Halloween Costumes
With spooky season now among us, there is an air of anxiety growing through the hot-girl population. Every year, all of us hot-girls think really hard on how to be the hottest, coolest versions of ourselves without looking like every other person. It is a stressful time. I get it. But fear not. I am here to help, to offer some outfits that will make you THE hot-girl to look out for this Halloween. These outfits will be made with things you could totally find in your or your friends’ closet, so ask them if you don’t have it.
The first costume is perfect for those coquette girlies who want something sexy, yet saccharine. She is none other than Marie Antoinette.
Marie Antoinette: You will make heads roll on the floor with this look. To put together this outfit, simply get a pair of high knee socks or lace tights. Although this costume looks very elaborate, it is really just a lot of old lingerie; and if you don’t own any… one place that ALWAYS has lace and lingerie is the thrift. So, go to your nearest thrift store and ransack the lingerie. Any lacy pieces–the pinker the better–and you can either try to find a lacy skirt or use a mini skirt you already own. The accessories are the most important factor of this outfit, and what I would personally invest in. Get a roll of satiny lace and make a necklace and shoulder straps, tie them in your hair, wrap them around your thighs, etc. The hot girls go crazy for ribbon! Then, get one long string of pearl beads or really any jewelry and layer it over one another. This creates a very elegant look, making you appear RICH, and, as we all know, hot girls are rich in mindset at the very least. Lastly, do something voluminous and fun with your hair or get a cute wig–again, the pinker the better! I say do classic coquette makeup with a unique birthmark to finish off the slay.
The next costume is a bit of a darker look, but perfect for my girls who like feeling ethereal: the siren.
Siren: Spoiler alert, but this is my Halloween costume this year. The siren is such a cool concept for a costume, since you can choose literally anything when styling it. You could use a lace layered top with a bra underneath and a lacy skirt, or wear a ruffle dress. Any blouse will really work as long as it’s correlated with sea colors. Accessories with this one also are SO fun. Make hair as long and messy as possible, make it beachy, and tie in shells or clips to add complexity. Makeup inspo is so cool for this look. It is very Euphoria-esque, so any glimmery colorful eyelids are on point and use some lash glue to add some small gems to the high points of your face (this will look like scales). Wear a ton of accessories to emphasize a sense of luxury and pair a darker lip for a sexy-mysterious look.
The last idea is more abstract but of my own creation: love bite.
Love Bite: Imagine a vampire, only more mysterious. The outfit love bite is simple and is definitely obtainable to construct. To start, use either a black dress or any sort of black and red look (extra points for lace). Hair can be anything you want, but to look more seductive, might I suggest putting your hair down? Layer jewelry for this one… and stick to silver. I would recommend a makeup look with dark eyes and an even darker lip. I think it would even be cool to put those fake small glue fangs in your mouth. What really differentiates between this look and other vampire ones is the ‘love bite’ idea. Ask someone, politely, if they would be able to apply dark red kiss marks around your face and clavicle. THIS will take your look to the next level and make you feel otherworldly. I am partly mad at myself for not gatekeeping this idea, but here you go.
At the end of the day, you will look hot no matter what you wear for Halloween, but I hope that this will help offer some inspiration as to what you could go out in. Some honorable mentions are: Mia from Princess Diaries, Little Bo Peep, followed by a duo/trio of Queen of Hearts, Mad Hatter, and the White Queen. My board is here for more inspo: board.
