Five Nail Trends To Try Out This Spring

I have to admit, I have a new obsession. If you look at my recent saves on IG, or  my Pinterest boards,  then you would immediately know what it is. Nails. I have become so obsessed with the direction that nail art has been going in lately that I find myself saving dream designs left and right.  We’ve come a long way from matte nails and polka dots. Now, nail art is more creative, colorful, fun. If you’re looking for ideas or inspo for your next nail shop visit, here are five nail art trends to try out that are simultaneously perfect for spring!

Squiggles

Now, this trend is everywhere. This design and all of its 70’s vibes are such a popular design and for good reason. Squiggles are an interesting design that allow for a lot of creative freedom. They are often paired with almond-shaped nails. This combo has a certain elegance to it, but the abstract design and color make it fun and bold for Spring. It’s perfect for those who like simple, classy nails but are looking to add a bit of flare!

Cow Print

Cow print has invaded every aspect of the fashion industry.  Some of us are tired of seeing it, but if you’re not, then it makes for a fun and whimsical nail look. There are so many different ways to recreate it as well. You can pair it with different colors, or change the color of the print itself.  This is definitely a style that you have to try out!

Art Sets

These sets are actually my favorite because they allow for the most self-expression! For this trend, each nail has a different design but all fit under the same theme. It’s nothing short of art. The designs that seem to common in all of these sets are smiley faces, cherries, ying yang symbols, etc. I can’t wait to try this out this spring and you should too!

Colorful French Tips

We love a good French tip, it’s a classic, timeless style. However, recently this design has been taken to the next level and I’m here for it. Much like everything else these days, people are leaving the traditional way of doing French tips behind. This style is now seen with multiple colors or different designs. It comes in all nail shapes and sizes such as coffin and almond. Try out some French tips this spring and don’t be afraid to put your own spin on it.

Pastels

Pastels have always been a  spring staple, so it makes sense why these nail art designs are trending right now. However, much like the French tips, pastel designs are being spiced up and there are a variety of different routes to take this look. It’s the perfect style to try out this season.

I love these new nail trends because they allow you to express your own creativity and style! So, when you’re trying these designs, feel free to put your own spin on them! The more creative, the better! Everyone should be adding nail art to their spring bucket list.

Strike Out,
