Britney B*tch is Going to Be an Author!

Britney Spears: singer, songwriter, dancer, and American icon. Spears’s career took off in 1998 with the release of her hit song “...Baby One More Time.” At just sixteen years old, she quickly became an overnight sensation. The pop star was continuously triumphant, song after song, and performance after performance.
However, after a public meltdown, the “Womanizer” singer found herself stuck in a strict conservatorship with her father, Jamie Spears, lasting from February 2008 until November 2021. The severity of this conservatorship was not made public until 2019 when Tess Barker and Barbara Gray, hosts of the podcast “Britney’s Gram,” received a voicemail from one of the popstar’s former lawyers. The caller said that Britney was unwillingly admitted to a mental health institution, and Jamie Spears had ended the star’s Vegas residency because she refused to take her prescriptions. As a result, Britney’s fan base united and began inciting change.
Although the megastar has attained a successful career, it’s clear she has experienced an exhausting personal life. As viewers, we’ve all witnessed the Spears family’s bad blood, which I'm sure has taken an immense toll on Britney. The entirety of her immediate family has stabbed her in the back on multiple occasions. Speaking for the majority of onlookers, after all that we’ve seen in the media, Britney’s recent book deal came as no surprise.

Announced on February 21st, Britney signed the book deal for a whopping $15 million. Interestingly, an insider shared with Page Six that this deal will be one of the most significant of our time after the Obama book deal that the former president signed for $60 million.
So, the question is, what should the public anticipate from Britney Spears in her upcoming memoir? The answer is obvious—we should expect Britney’s truth. In January of 2022, thirty-year-old Jamie Lynn Spears, sister of Britney, released Things I Should Have Said, where she shared her take on fame, fortune, and family. However, the family factor didn’t go over so well with Britney or her fan base. Following this, on January 19th, 2022, Britney posted a long and honest message directed at Jamie Lynn, stating, “You can paint it however you like but dear child… YOU shut me out when I needed you the most!!!! Writing in your book saying I wasn’t like your mom anymore… No, you hurt me.” This time around, there will most definitely be another response from Britney, and this time published, regarding Jamie Lynn’s alleged dishonest and harsh words. After such a prolonged feud, it will be satisfying for readers to hear Britney’s side of the situation.

For years, Britney balanced being a superstar and a mother of two children, constantly battling attacks from the paparazzi and family feuds behind closed doors. But, longtime Britney fans want to know—how did she do it? How did she successfully travel the world, perform her ass off in back-to-back shows, write her own songs, and vulnerably share her life with the public, all while keeping a smile on her face? The people are curious to know all the dirty secrets of what happened backstage. As previously mentioned, Britney’s career started when she was only a teenager, so it will be intriguing to read firsthand what growing up in the public eye was like and how it affected her mentally—the good and the bad.
Catching a glimpse into what her private life was like during the climax of her career will hopefully answer all of the hot seat questions we’ve had for years, old and new.
Everyone is eager for the memoir to come out, but there is no set release date yet. I guess we’ll just have to hold our horses for a while. Until further notice, fans should tune into Britney’s Instagram for updates on her life and hopefully more details about her upcoming book!
