Given that the Michael Kors Collection MKC x 007 collaboration resulted in monumental success for the new film, No Time to Die, the brand decided to extend its partnership with the James Bond franchise. Designer Michael Kors announced that he is continuing his relationship with 007 by collaborating with the film series to create a limited-edition capsule featuring classic and chic pieces. The launch celebrates the release of the 25th James Bond film, No Time to Die, on October 8th. The movie follows the legendary British spy sent by the CIA to rescue a kidnapped scientist and track down a villain who is armed with dangerous new technology. The capsule features eleven pieces with a sleek black and metallic color palette that mirrors the glamour and adventure of the Bond cinematic universe. These co-branded products make the consumer enter into the world’s most famous spy film franchise. Crafted in Italy, the versatile collection includes handbags, luggage, shirts, footwear, and swimwear.

The collaboration highlights a new gold and black Signature MMK x 007 logo print which was created exclusively for this collection. The one-piece swimsuit features the MMK x 007 logo indiscreetly situated on the back. The graphic cropped t-shirt has the phrase “Agent 007” written on it. The 007 signature print Sadler slides features a fashionable design with the partnership's title imprinted into the sole. A belted long-sleeve suit, backpack, tote, glitzy shoulder bag embellished with the Michael Kors signature “MK” logo, a Bond Signature print suitcase, a Beck Weekender bag, and 007 luggage tags are also included in the collection.

Last month, the designer introduced a dynamic, limited-edition capsule of three Michael Kors Collection bags. The release included the Bond Bancroft Satchel that Naomie Harris’ character Moneypenny wore in No Time to Die. The satchel is assembled into a versatile shape using smooth calf leather with a polished MKC x 007 plaque on the interior lining. The Bond Canvas & Leather Duffel and Bond Calf Leather Carryall are ideal for overnight and weekend trips. Both bags are finished with an MKC x 007 leather luggage tag.

The campaign was shot at The Ocean Club, one of the iconic filming destinations in the 007 film Casino Royale. Models Bella Hadid and Cindy Bruna will be the face of the campaign and are expected to appear internationally across e-commerce websites and social and digital platforms. Recently, Hadid shared, “I love the independence and the multifaceted character of each different Bond girl...She can be anything and everything. Anywhere and nowhere. Classic, cool and independent.” The capsule will make its global debut on October 19th at Michael Kors retail stores and online at the Michael Kors website and The 007 Store.

Brand owner Michael Kors stated that “Jet-set glamour, sophistication, speed, energy – these are all words that come to mind when you think about the world of James Bond...They’re also at the core of our brand DNA.” This collaboration communicates the timeless sophistication and elegance the 007 film franchise portrays, as it proves that fashion can immerse a consumer into any film they desire.
