Back to School Wardrobe

The month of August has finally arrived and for all college-bound adults, this means that the start of the fall semester is steadily approaching. If you are among the many young adults that have a passion for fashion this means that you have already been starting to plan your first-day outfit. The first day of school outfit is crucial, so why not allow Strike Magazine to aid in your assistance? Dare to be different with current hair trends, fashion statements, and eye-catching garments. Ditch those over-sized t-shirts and Nike shorts, and allow for Strike to upgrade your wardrobe.

Incorporate Patchwork Denim into your fall 2018 wardrobe. This fashion trend that originated in the 1970s, can be seen worn by recording artist Selena Gomez. Reality TV family the Kardashians also sported a similar attire for their fall shoot with Calvin Klein. Rock an all-denim outfit paired with denim jeans or a denim skirt. Or if you are more on the tame side, pair some denim jeans with a cute bodysuit.

Ever worried if your bobby pins were protruding from your scalp? Well, worry no longer. This new hair trend makes the bobby pins the star by displaying them front and center. Exposed bobby pins have become of the most noteworthy ways to spice up any outfit. This hair trend is more about aesthetic rather than maintaining fly away hairs. Switch it up by forming them in a straight line or diagonal atop of one another.

Men, Strike did not forget about you all. Dare to be bold with the infamous “RompHim”. This gender non-binary outfit is perfect for the everyday hipster and those who are not afraid to be different. The internet had been abuzz when the existence of the male romper was first launched. Could an article of clothing so unorthodox in nature really be successful amongst young male adults? In fact, it is. Two days after the “RompHim” was launched on Kickstarter, a total of $136,000 was raised for its launch, this amount being 13 times the original goal of $10,000. What is more important is its impact and reflection of modern masculinity. Should clothing truly have genders?
