The Must Have Beauty Products for 2023

New year, new me, and a new beauty routine. I loved seeing the products that gained popularity throughout 2022, and it has made me eagerly reflect on which products will be the must-haves for 2023. We saw celebrity makeup lines, skincare lines, and the revitalization of old, long forgotten products. TikTok has made itself known as a trendsetter.

If you are on the platform, you know, once you have seen a product, buy it, or it will be sold out the next day. The buzz created by one viral Tik Toker has a power like no other. I’m going to share with you what I think are the most noteworthy products that will be in your must haves in 2023.

First off, we have the Drunk Elephant D-Bronzi Anti-Pollution Bronzing Drops with peptides - yes, it has a long name. Alix Earle was known for making these go viral as they are the epitome of glowy sun-kissed skin. This is beautiful under the skin or alongside your foundation and can be a great natural makeup addition when you just want a little color and some glow.

I don’t think there is much needed to say about these two products except that they're practically perfect. The Charlotte Tilbury Contour Wand is still a must-have cult classic. Companies are finally transitioning into dupeing this product, but nothing will compare to the original. If you want to look snatched and have easy application this is your product. The contour product is so pigmented you will not need a lot to look bronzed. Alongside this product, what I believe would be the perfect combo of contour and blush is Rare Beauty Soft Pinch Liquid Blush. Selena Gomez has been killing the game with her ultra-pigmented blushes. This product is featured in both radiant and matte finishes for whatever your heart desires, although I always suggest radiant to get some glow. These blushes have been all over Tik Tok and are hugely loved by all, an absolute must-have for your 2023 routine.

Lip products are the most fun products with so many different options, I am here to show you the three you must have in your collection. First off, starting strong is the Clinique Almost Lipstick in the shade, Black Honey. Now looking at the product, the lipstick looks like a dark berry color, but therefore it is so amazing. The Almost Lipstick is pigmented and sheer enough to make your lips look like the better version of themselves. I promise I am not crazy when I say, it gives you the perfect color and is a great base when you want to have a little something but stay true to your lips. Next product, which I must say if you have the honor of finding it, buy it. I have gone to so many stores with no victory in finding this beautiful hydrating lip product. The Revlon Super Lustrous Glass Shine Lipstick in the color Rum Raisin is a silky-smooth hydrating lip product that is not sticky and shines like no other. Now if you cannot find the Revlon product and are okay with splurging on something a little pricier, I highly suggest the Dior Addict Hydrating Shine Lipstick. I have one that I wear underneath my Dior Lip Glow Oil and the combination is my favorite thing ever. They have 44 different shades, and I would argue they are nicer than the Revlon. I own the nude look and it truly gives my Glow Oil room to shine.

The last product I want to recommend is the Better Than Sex Volumizing & Lengthening Mascara, but in the shade brown. I know black is bold and classic, but I am telling you there is something about putting on brown mascara that makes your eyes pop in a way black never will. It is perfect for more subtle day looks and if you have light-colored eyes. Pop a little brown eyeliner in your waterline, and your eyes will look amazing and less harsh.
I am most curious to see what new products come into trend for 2023 and what my makeup routine will look like at the end of the year. Give my must-have beauty products a try, I promise they won’t disappoint.
